For a long time now you may have felt depressed and/or restricted in the areas of your life relating to your work/daily duties and your personal health. You may have thought you were just getting older and thus didn’t have the positive energy that you desired to actually do everything that you want to do in ways that you could enjoy. You may have felt slower and more tired. You may have believed that your gusto for life just got up and evaporated. Hang in there Leo, situations are about to turn around in your favor very soon. Are you ready to feel a lot better and get your creative energy flowing again? The New Moon in Capricorn on January 11th is a very positive new moon indeed! Try to focus your attention on everything you do desire to accomplish in the near future. This is an excellent time to start a new nutritional and exercise program. Anything new that you choose to do to improve your health will be very beneficial for you. There’s a rejuvenation energy that is available for you to tune into now. At first you may feel discontent, but once the New Moon in Scorpio arrives on November 13th you should begin to see some improvements. Is it better to fret and worry OR is it better to create some improvement plans? By putting your physical efforts towards creatively improving your environment and family relationships you will feel more proactively in charge of everything. You should find that you are in a much better mood once energy from Mercury (November 10th), Mars (November 24th) and the Sun (November 22nd) move into your fellow fire sign of Sagittarius just in time for the holiday season! What new enjoyable creative plans can you come up with that can be fun for yourself and everyone? Eclipse season, which began on April 20th under the New Moon/Solar Eclipse in Aries and reached a high point with the Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Scorpio on May 5th was very challenging for everyone. For you Leo, this portal of energy is about you taking a good look at both your career and your home life to see what you like and dislike about these important parts of your life. Many Leo’s I know took time off from their jobs, switched jobs/careers, were previously working from home and chose not to work remotely anymore, and visa/versa where they started home based businesses instead of working for someone else. Many even decided to sell their homes and move completely to create more space for their home based businesses. What did you recognize most about these two areas of your life? What have you decided to do differently? Even the idea of a small renovation, to improve your environment, is a step in the right direction. How does your own unique personality shine within your home and in the outside world? Even if you haven’t done anything yet, but you know that you desire to, just the idea of making some good changes is a step in the right direction. Energy from the Sun, Jupiter and Chiron are all in the sign of Aries, helping you to try to Rise Above whatever situations you feel that you are struggling with so that you can focus on healing solutions. For now it’s important to be wise by paying attention to the communication that you have with yourself, and with others, to make sure that what you are thinking and saying is in alignment with your life you are creating. The Full Moon in Libra on April 6th highlights this theme of good communication with yourself, and others, for the betterment of everyone involved. With a grander sense of kindness and generosity you can feel a stronger sense of purpose in your life. Energy from the Part of Fortune and Black Moon Lilith are in your sign; so try not to be too controlling nor stubborn (with yourself and others) then you’ll be fine. There’s a push and pull between your true spiritual self and your ego self. Your spiritual self says, “Yes I Can and I can help you too!” while your ego side says, “I don’t want to and WHY aren’t you doing what I want you to do!” This is the month for you to try to balance these 2 sides of your nature by choosing to make positive changes within. You will be tested on how well you’re doing once Pluto temporarily moves into the sign of Aquarius from March 23rd – May 1st. The Full Moon in Virgo on March 7th at 7:40 PM ET shines her bright light in the area of your life that represents your self-esteem, confidence, and the creative ways that you earn your income. Celebrate what you do so efficiently Leo. When you give yourself credit then others will compliment you too. (Leo’s love genuine compliments). If there’s something that you know you could do better that will be brought to your attention too. Also, on this same day, less than an hour later, Saturn will move into the sign of Pisces for the next 3 years. Saturn in Pisces is highlighting your 8th house of other people’s money, debts owed, money received, bank loans, inheritances, and even personal topics like sexuality and intimacy. Saturn desires you to be honest, truthful and genuine regarding these topics. The first 2 weeks of this month of January you may be feeling more introverted. There is limited energy from the planets Mars and Mercury which are both in retrograde motion; possibly making you want to keep to yourself and do as little as possible. Your normal creative joyful self may have flown the coop! At times you may even feel down right depressed. You need to know that you’re not alone. Almost everyone is feeling like you do, uncertain and sometimes a bit lonely. It’s very important that you take good care of yourself. Mars will go back into direct motion on January 12th. Mercury will go back into direct motion on January 18th. Once the Sun moves into the sign of Aquarius on January 20th and the New Moon in Aquarius arrives on January 21st…then you will begin to shift your focus towards sharing some quality time with others. You could even meet someone special over the next 4 weeks. Your energy, everyone’s energy, is a bit more slow moving so try to have patience. At least there will be a bit more activity going on. You could be spontaneously invited to go somewhere that can be enjoyable. It’s up to you to say yes or no. If you say yes you will be happy you went. The unique side of you is shining through for the last week of this month and into February. Allow your unique side to shine through! Your most joyful side will return in the not too distant future.

Your playful side shines forth at the beginning of the month, but be cautious with your communication once Mercury moves into Capricorn on December 6th. You could easily say something that you might regret later, unless you’re wise and think twice before venting your anger. Leo’s do like to control situations, especially if they feel they are right; and when do they not feel they are right about something, especially if it’s an important situation/topic to them? Mercury is in shadow of going retrograde on December 29th, but before that date you could easily want to say what is on your mind for better or for worse. Why the intensity for what you’re feeling? This has a lot to do with Mars in Gemini being in retrograde motion, flowing through the area of your life that has to do with your ‘hopes, dreams, wishes, goals and aspirations!’ You set a goal, you’re dreaming it will turn out, then something happens, it doesn’t work out, then oh how upset you could be (because you know it wasn’t your fault) then you could look to vent some words (truthful as they may be) upon some people who you feel are responsible. The question to ask yourself is, “Is it worth it? Is it worth saying something you could regret later, or that might even put a delay in the matters already delayed?” If you desire progress and situations to work out well then this is the month for you to be as dedicated as you can be towards: 1) The feelings of others. 2) You’re own good health. 3) Focusing on the plans you’ve made that do work out well. 4) Don’t sweat the small stuff…breathe…focus on creating more simplicity and ease. The Full Moon in Gemini on December 7th will bring all of these topics to the surface. From this point of time onward, towards the New Moon in Capricorn, is when you can practice 1-4 above. As you practice you’ll probably do quite well. When the New Moon arrives on December 23rd, joined closely with Mercury, Venus, Pluto and the Sun in Capricorn, this is the perfect time for you to start anew; to focus on how you desire to make positive changes within your life that can help you to live smarter not harder and feel healthier too. December 25th looks very nice with an Aquarius Moon; highlighting the area of your life relating to close mates, spouses, friends and family. Allow laughter to be in the air. Have some fun playing too! Good vibrations continue until Mercury moves retrograde (December 29th-January18th). Mercury retrograde in Capricorn moves slowly backwards through the area of your life that represents daily tasks and personal health. What tasks have you procrastinated on that need to be taken care of soon? What health improvements can you make that can help you to feel more vitality? Could it be just a ‘Mind over Matter’ improvement that needs to be improved; like minding less about matters that you can’t control any way? Watch your stress-level and pay attention to what situations make you stressed and why. Are the why’s really worth you not feeling good because you’re upset? Can you perceive situations differently so that you don’t get upset at all? If, for any reason, you’re physically not feeling well that could be because of unresolved inner tensions, frustrations, anxieties, and personal resistance regarding situations that you’ve gone through in the past, or something you are dealing with in the present. Be good to yourself Leo. You can always create better situations. You are super creative. Your ruling planet is the Sun! Your inner Solar Power just needs to be directed towards passionate projects that you enjoy! In fact, the more detailed your projects are the healthier you’ll feel. Use your mind in productive ways so that at the end of the day you feel proud of yourself. Mars in Gemini is in retrograde motion until January 12th. From now through then you may often feel like your hopes, dreams, wishes and goals are taking too long for your satisfaction. Don’t give up! This is a period of time for you to ‘take your time’ and ‘be more patient’…a lot more patient! This is a blessed period of time for you to become more mindful regarding what it IS that you truly want. What you desired before may not be what you desire now at all! It’s time to review what your most important hopes, dreams, wishes and goals actually are!
Your focus for the first few weeks of this month should be on releasing out of your life what you no longer need nor want. Take a good look around you. Keep what you love the most and let go of what you feel is taking up your precious time and space. The Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Taurus on November 8th will help you to understand more clearly what you desire to focus your time and energy upon…and what you do not. Have you been working too hard and might desire a vacation? You will soon know more clearly what and whom you desire to spend your time, energy, money and physical efforts towards. You will release out of your life what you feel no longer serves your highest good. You truly desire to have the freedom to live your life in the ways that you want.
As we move into Sagittarius season you can become more joyful! The Sun moves into the sign of Sagittarius on November 22nd. The following day on the 23rd the New Moon in Sagittarius helps you to think of new ways where you can bring more enjoyment into your life! Allow your higher mind to be inspired on some new ways you can enjoy sharing your time, energy, feelings, and resources with those you love the most. What you give will return to you 10 fold! You’re now coming out of your previous introverted shell and are ready to become more socially extroverted once again! Good communication flows from you and to you. Conversation flowing to you can still seem a bit confusing and muffled for most of this month. You may have plans to do something important but you would be wise to have a plan B in case plan A goes awry (which it probably will). That’s okay, try to bide your time. Focus on yourself and what means the most to you during this phase of time. This is a month about being self-aware of who you are and what you desire in your future. This isn’t the month to make any concrete plans yet, but coming up with some good ideas is highlighted for you. Self-love, self-care, self-awareness will all help you to have better relationships with others in the near future.

No one can know you better than you know yourself! It’s your time to shine and strengthen your self-worth! Your financial assets can grow abundantly too; especially when you have confidence in what you do! You may find yourself being a bit more quiet than normal while Mercury is in retrograde motion. That’s okay because this vibration is teaching you how to be your own best friend. If you’re feeling more introverted than usual, desire to be by yourself, it’s all part of the lesson for you now while Mercury is in retrograde motion. When you do speak with people try to keep the conversation upbeat so that you can feel joyfully energized and not emotionally drained. Once Mercury goes back into direct motion on October 2nd then day by day you’ll become more extroverted and social again.

It’s always during Cancer season (when the Sun is in Cancer) that is your time for a nice retreat so that you can heal from whatever you’ve gone through over the past 12 months. Soon, very soon, you will slowly get your personal focus back upon yourself in a positive way. Until then (more on when later) it’s important that you give yourself the time you need to release and let go of past grievances that you may have against yourself and/or any other people. It’s time to get rid of the emotional and mental baggage that you don’t desire to carry around with you any more. The past is over. You can’t do anything about changing the past now. The right now moments of your life is all that matters. More calm comes into your life starting on July 5th when both Mercury and Mars move into signs that promote more ease in your life. Mercury moves into the sign of Cancer for the next few weeks, while Mars moves into the more earthy sign of Taurus giving you the energy you need to succeed within both your career and with your family.
