Who do you count on? Who can you turn to when you need a good friend? Who do you feel is on your side when life feels challenging? Energy from Mars and Jupiter are flowing through the area of your life that represents your most important relationships. How much energy do you put forth to nurture the relationships that mean the most to you? Think of your relationships like a garden. A garden cannot grow without the work to pull out the weeds, time for watering, and the loving sunshine from you to make it grow. Sure you desire another to do this FOR you too. You deserve that, yes you do! A relationship is like a garden that is owned by both people and it takes 2 to really make the relationship bloom and grow. How is the relationship garden with yourself? Do you take time each day to give yourself what you need to bloom and grow? Do you even know what your needs are? If you don't then your relationships can turn into codependent ones because you will have a need for the other person to take care of you instead of you knowing how to take care of yourself. If that other person gets busy then you can get upset because you need their time for you to be nurtured. May is the month when these themes of independence vs codependence come to the surface. With Mercury going retrograde on May 10th and the Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse in Scorpio on May 16th situations can easily get out of hand with misunderstandings and disagreements...all because someone, maybe you, isn't receiving what they need or that they should learn to do for themselves. This relationship theme of independence vs codependence, especially where joint finances are involved, can easily continue for the next 6 months. The solution, as I've described above, is about nurturing the relationships that are most important to you like a beautiful garden and also nurturing yourself in these ways too. Everyone and every thing that you have in your life has a relationship with you in some way; otherwise they wouldn't be in your life. Choose which ones are most important to you. You are the important gardener of your own life. Blessed are those who you use your gardener skills with; for those can be the most beautiful gardens (relationships) ever if given the right loving care.
