I read a poem recently about personal growth and transition, which was really moving and relevant for me, and I thought I would share it with you. It is by an American psychologist called Jennifer Welwood.

Willing to experience aloneness,
I discover connection everywhere;
Turning to face my fear,
I meet the warrior who lives within;
Opening to my loss,
I am given unimaginable gifts;
Surrendering into emptiness,
I find fullness without end.

Each condition I flee from pursues me.
Each condition I welcome transforms me
And becomes itself transformed
Into it’s radiant jewel-like essence.
I bow to the One who has made it so,
Who has crafted this Master Game;

I was so zonked tired from working my arse off at the office today, got home and tried to watch the ole telly, turned it off, drank a cup of rooibos tea and connected to the web. I found your musings page and found the voice of Spirit speaking quietly. I’m going to bed now, feeling so much calmer after your inspirations and muses.
